Hello Blogspot world!
Before I start rambling about my day/life, I thought it be most appropriate for me to introduce myself.
My name is Clara, and I am a 24 year old Behavior Interventionist Therapist.
I have been working with people with developmental disabilities for the past two years in a variety of settings. I have worked in centers, schools, daycare and family homes providing 1 on 1 support in applied behavior analysis. For the past year I have been specializing and working with children with Autism. I mainly provide early intervention (ages 2.5-5), but do have experience with grade schoolers and adolescents.
I LOVE what I do and for once, I don't ever feel like this is "work". I am privileged to be apart their lives and I thank the parents, child, adult, guardian, mentors for allowing me to be apart of their family.
I created this blog to share my thoughts, my opinions, my knowledge and my experience. I hope to meet people in the blogger world who shares my passion for education and the children of our future.
Thank you and you can continue to show your support by following my blog!
Until next time,
Clara
